Press Release Body: BISHOP, CA - High Sierra Consulting is alerting all GSA Schedule holders that are not aware of a recent GSA Central Office decision to kick off the GSA EXPO campaign much earlier than usual. Booth Sales to the wildly successful GSA Expo go on sale for the 2009 GSA EXPO, which is scheduled for 9-11 June in San Antonio, Texas. This launch is much earlier then usual. Get your mouse and click finger ready to sign up for the 2009 GSA EXPO online as the booths go on sale at 1:00 pm EST on Monday, 15 September, 2008.
The 2009 GSA Expo Each year General Services Administration Federal Acquisition Service hosts an annual three day customer-outreach event called the GSA Expo. This event attracts approximately 6,000 Federal, Military and State & Local purchasers who can purchase off GSA Schedules. This is where the GSA Schedule holders can directly interface with the procurement officers, program managers and contract officers. During this 3-day event, customers can attend up to nine different training sessions and spend up to 1-1/2 days on the exhibit floor.
Expo booth space will be available to companies that hold current contracts with GSA. Space is limited and not guaranteed. The online booth application will be accepted only from the Expo Web site at (http://expo.gsa.gov) beginning September 15, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. EST .The Expo web site will be updated as more information becomes available. Be sure to check back frequently as things are constantly being added. The floor plan and application for the booths will be available on or about August 27, 2008 via the Expo Website.
New to the GSA Expo in 2009 GSA Expo will have one of the U.S. Army's MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) Armored Vehicles on display. This area of the exhibit floor is ideal for those companies displaying products/services that support the U.S. troops in the field. Do not miss this impressive display.
